Arm Stretch - Stretching Exercises for Your Arms
Here are some arm stretches which you can do before you begin any arm workout. Hold each stretch for around 10-15 seconds, for each side.
Forearm Stretch
Place your right arm straight out in front of you palm up. Push your palm down with your left hand. Switch Arms.
Tricep Shoulder Stretch
Reach your right arm across your body. Lift your left arm up so your forearm crosses over your right elbow and pull in. Switch Arms.
Overhead Tricep Stretch
Lift you right arm above your head and let your hand fall behind your head. Grad your elbow with your left hand and pull. Switch Arms.
Next we are going to do a couple ballistic stretches to get our muscles warmed up even more. Again do these for 10 seconds.
Huggers
Keep your arms loose and swing them away from your body then across your body like you are hugging yourself.
Shakers
With hands down by your sides, shake your arms flicking the wrists out.
Arm Circles
Hold your arms out to your sides. Do 15 small circles forward, then 15 small circles backwards. Make your circles bigger and do 15 more forward and 15 more backwards.
